Hi! I’m Kelly.
I am a Cleveland-based nonprofit professional working in service of mission-driven organizations in the environmental and climate resilience, economic and workforce development, and health and human service fields. I began Kelly M Consulting, LLC in 2023, with the goal of supporting mission-driven organizations that are working to secure a livable future where all beings can thrive.
Since launching Kelly M Consulting, LLC I have supported nearly 100 grant applications ranging from small local or philanthropic requests to large, coalition-based federal grant requests, helping to secure over $151M in grant funding for nonprofits and public agencies doing mission-focused, forward-thinking work across the country.
Originally from Massachusetts, I moved to Cleveland, Ohio in 2019 to contribute to the collective efforts I saw unfolding to help the Great Lakes region become more resilient and sustainable in a climate uncertain future. I cut my teeth in land conservation and urban land reuse; my work has since taken me to the fields of clean energy and advanced transportation, youth development, outdoor recreation, workforce training and housing. I am honored to apply my expertise to advance the goals of mission-driven organizations in Cleveland and beyond.
Outside of work, you can find my exploring Cleveland’s food scene, dabbling in triathlon (pictured!), walking our dog in Lakewood Park, or cozied up with a good book.
